We're preparing the Commodore Wags for the Variety WA Bash while raising money and awareness for Variety – the Children's Charity WA.
The reason we're doing this
Variety – the Children's Charity WA supports children who are sick, disadvantaged or living with disability, helping them access equipment, opportunities, experiences and support that can make a lasting difference to their lives.
Our Variety WA Bash project is about more than preparing a car for an adventure. Our primary goal is to raise funds and awareness for Variety WA and the work they do supporting children and families across Western Australia.

Meet the team
Meet the people behind Car 95.
A technology leader from Perth with a passion for cars, hands-on projects and giving back to the community. I enjoy tackling a challenge, whether it’s at work, in the shed or on the road, and I’m looking forward to making some great memories while raising money for a worthwhile cause.
Heavy Diesel Mechanic, FIFO worker and car enthusiast. His mechanical experience will be a big part of the build.

Our Bash Car
The starting point is a 2003 Holden VY Berlina Commodore Wagon. Rear wheel drive, V6 automatic and built in Australia for families.
It's a fairly unlikely choice for an off-road fundraising adventure — which is exactly why we chose it.

Custom roof storage box and rack, touring equipment, two spare wheels and spare parts storage.
Full mechanical assessment, major service and preventative replacement of known wear items before the Bash.
